Reconstruction agency of Japanese Govt. proposed revised basic policy of so-called “Children and Other Victims Act”, which regulates assistance for the victims affected by the accident of Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant, on the July 10th.
According to the proposal, the area for the assistance by the Act is “appropriate to be reduced or abolished”, though the 33 municipalities, the present target area for the assistance, will be maintained for the time being.
The revised proposal will be adopted at a cabinet meeting in August.
