» Latest water leak could be from primary containment vessel

TEPCO said that highly radioactive water found on the floor of the No. 3 reactor building could be a sign that water could be leaking from an area where pipes are connected to the primary containment vessel.

TEPCO confirmed that water was pouring into a drain on the first floor of the building housing the No. 3 reactor, which suffered a meltdown in the early stage of the 2011 nuclear crisis.
