Three people on Sep 3rd filed a criminal complaint against TEPCO and 32 of its current and former executives with the Fukushima prefectural police, arguing they neglected to take measures to prevent radioactive water at Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant from leaking and flowing into the ocean.
One of the three accuser is Ms. Ruiko Muto who is a leader of a group of some 14,000 people who have filed a criminal complaint with prosecutors against TEPCO, its executives and government officials over their responsibility for causing the Fukushima nuclear disaster.
The three said that the failure of TEPCO and 32 executives to take appropriate measures has caused the daily outflow of 300-400 tons of radioactive water into the Pacific Ocean.
