» Task force for water leakage set by TEPCO

TEPCO said it will concentrate its resources on managing the massive amount of radioactive water through efforts such as setting up a company task force.

The task force, to be led by President Naomi Hirose, will be joined by over 100 employees. Executive Vice President Zengo Aizawa will be stationed at the plant to directly take command of the matter.

As an emergency measure, TEPCO will allocate 50 more personnel for tank patrols, bringing the number to around 60, and check water levels in the tanks using thermography
