» IAEA visiting Fukushima for inspection of the effect of radiation on wildlife

Fifteen experts from the International Atomic Energy Agency arrived in Fukushima Prefecture on July 22nd to inspect till July 26th the effects of radiation on wildlife and the management of radioactive materials arising from decontamination.

The prefecture’s Deputy Gov. Masao Uchibori told the IAEA experts at their meeting in Fukushima city,”Fukushima Prefecture’s reconstruction is gaining momentum thanks to the launch of this cooperation project and It is encouraging.”
